The Cabinet Secretary for National Treasury and Economic Planning, FCPA Hon. John Mbadi Ng’ong’o, officially launched the Nyanderma Primary School Water Supply Project on 7th March, 2026.
This landmark borehole project is set to transform the lives of approximately 2,500 people, providing a reliable water source for Nyanderma Primary School and the surrounding community.
Representing the Lake Victoria South Water Works Development Agency (LVSWWDA) CEO, Ms. Jackline Kemunto, were Eng. Paul Agwanda (Senior Manager, Water Works Services) and Mr. Daniel Owino (Senior Manager, Corporate Services) Ms. Miriam Siwa (Senior Manager Research, Strategy & Performance Contract).
The project underscores the government’s commitment to improving rural health and education through essential water infrastructure. Following the drilling phase, the borehole will be equipped to ensure immediate and long-term service delivery to the people.
