Officers from Lake Victoria South Water Works Development Agency (LVSWWDA) and representatives from the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation on 10th March, 2021 undertook an inspection of the Mecheo Water Project to accelerate its completion a head of commissioning.
The project capacity is 150m3/day and is expected to serve a population of 6,000 people.
It will serve Mecheo Secondary School, Mecheo Primary School, Kenyoro Primary School, Keginga Secondary School, Keginga Primary School and Keginga Health Center in Nyamira County.
