Welcomed Water Police Unit Officers deployed from the Ministry
Of Water &Sanitation and Irrigation to help curb vandalism, theft and
illegal connections within the eight counties in the Agency’s area of
jurisdiction.
The newly formed unit is expected to enforce water policy issues and
provide security and protection of water utilities.
The officers are In Charge, Water Police Unit. Nyanza Region Inspector
Eston Njuguna and APC Peter Kiogora.
This will help in preventing the loss of over KShs10.5 billion that the
country looses through Non-Revenue Water.
