Kuryot Primary School Borehole Water Supply Project is located in Sotik Sub-County, Bomet County. The project serves Kuryot Primary School, the nearby Kuryot Dispensary and the neighboring community.
The project was financed by the Government of Kenya (GoK) and implemented by the Lake Victoria South Water Works Development Agency (LVSWWDA) at a total cost of KES. 4,820,180.68.
It was initiated to supply water to Kuryot Primary School, Kuryot Dispensary and the neighboring community. The borehole was drilled with a depth of 180m and yields 3000 liters perhour. Also constructed under the project are elevated tanks, a pump house, one Water kiosk, borehole protection chamber, Solar power module structure, among other distribution accessories.
